APTUAL

Aptual is a micro-sized company, which originally specialized in internet marketing. After the financial crisis of 2008-2009, when companies worldwide were cutting their advertising budgets, the company was forced to re-think their business. Out of a number of open innovation initiatives the Accelerate project played the most important role in the company’s current business success by helping to reassess its overall goals. This project is therefore the focus of this case study, although other collaborative initiatives, which were important for the company’s success, are also described.
